Andy Worhol once said, "Good artists borrow. Great artists steal."
These pieces were inspired by the work of Ruben Yzaguirre, a fellow bead artist. At the Tucson bead show, he showed me some most interesting wall pieces, cut with a special technique to create beautiful, undulating patterns. After talking to a customer a short time later about creating more abstract focal pieces, I connected the dots. Thanks Ruben (and my customer) for helping me create my most exciting work thus far.
